Security Reality – Real World Network Security and Hacking – 1st Edition.

Posted in Editions on March 30, 2009 by nick8ch

eye-eye-eyeWelcome to the March 30, 2009 edition of real world network security and hacking. This is sort of a new thing, not a ton of information. I did receive several submissions but for some reason only one person actually seemed to READ the description. We DO NOT need articles on free anti virus or submissions on family genealogy. I’m attempting to collaborate information that can be useful in the hacking and security community. REAL information and security research and hacking, not canned techno babble. Thanks Jess J. for the great article on programming books. Hopefully we will be able to gain momentum and have more worth while articles to share. Enjoy….

Security Certifications

Nick8ch presents Security Certification Exam Cage Match. “Looking for the best three or four letters to have after your name as a sec professional? Here are my 2 cents :)

Hacker Book Reviews.

jess j presents Reviews of the Top 9.5 Programming Books posted at GrokCode, saying, “A list of books that every serious hacker should read. These books cover the all the fundamentals of programming. Each book is well reviewed.”

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of Security Reality using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
